High pressure holding down a tide

My rib mooring is about as far up Penryn River as you can go 50 meters downstream from the bridge.
Tonight I knew it would be tight but really checked my calcs ,chartplotter agreed ,Reeds agreed , BBC agreed, Admiralty agreed, except for reality. Had allowed 20 mins, but not enough, held down by 35 mins,

But looking at the data on http://www.ntslf.org/data/uk-network-real-time, recent tides have been boringly close to predicted levels.
