As the manufacturer of the faulty battery, I can confirm that Entel received this back from Seamark Nunn on Tuesday this week (Seamark Nunn received it on Monday of this week). It is now Friday - less than a week. As is usual with any manufacturer who receives back a product with an enexpected fault, the battery has been submitted for diagnostic tests. If the battery, which is still within warranty, is found to be genuinely faulty and this is not due to misuse by the end-user, it will be replaced immediately at the manufacturer's expense. We pride ourselves on offering a swift, friendly and courteous service, as does our agent, Seamark Nunn, who are certainly not to blame in any way. As with most things in life, it is usually best to wait and examine all the facts before shooting from the lip - so thank you and well done to those correspondents who have taken a more measured view of this unfortunate situation.
Brave of you stick stick your head above the parapet
If Will dropped the battery into Seamark Nunn's on Monday and posted here on Wednesday saying "I leave my H/held and dud battery with them & havn't heard anything for days." that does seem a wee bit impatient.
I believethat Fox's Chandlery are also aware of statements here,as well

Looks like the HX760E is the best option for me.

Henry in Foxes reckoned it was more expensive in the shope because he was there giviing advice, personally I will stick to Seamark Nunn anytime.
Last winter I wanter a load of equipment (about £1.5k) for Karouise. Took same shopping list to Seamark Nunn and to Foxes - Foxes came up with a better deal.
Collected all equipment in one go (and got loads of discount on the savings card!). As I was going to install over a number of weekends I set up the kit at home to check how it went together etc. Couldn't get the VHF to work so went to see Henry. He sorted it straight away.
Have known and delt with Henry before when we was at Woolverstone and I had some work done on my very first boat. Always found him great to deal with.
