Heybridge Basin lock operational

The works have cleared away from the lock and I am told today the gates worked.

Said to have the 'odd leak'! They are coming back in October apparently.......

Still fingers crossed for TG launched on 27th April.

Well, "Lady of Avenal" which spent the winter in Heybridge is now moored in Maldon, so the lock must have worked a couple of days ago, at least!
