Morning Brayman.....I did indeed make it beyond Mapledurham just last Saturday.......not a dragon in sight: must do it again :D

Unfortunately I was very pushed for time: our youngest was back for the weekend and wanted to go on the river for a few hours but as Mapledurham took an hour and a half from T&K we only managed to go as far as Whitchurch this time.

Lovely stretch of river: I totally agree.....and will be spending much more time up that way.
 
Watson we have spent the last couple of weekends up on the wall at Goring and will be heading back there again Saturday ,great pubs and thanks to time of year easy to get a spot on the wall ,welcome to trundle up with us this Saturady if you are out ? we will chug out onto the Thames from the kennet around 9.30 ish am and head up from there ...normally takes 3 hours ....even at narrow boat speedm lol Steve.

Hi Steve
I may well take you up on that suggestion! AT the moment I'm trying to rustle up a crew (both the boys are back at Uni!) so if I succeed I will absolutely let you know.
