Welcome to the ECF, who are a great crowd, even the ones who don't post on here.

The best teaching is done on the water, get someone to come out with you a few times to get your basic boat handling skills laid in, then the course work will make more sense.

When you start having adventures outside of the "back yard" you will really learn to love sailing and the area.

Take up anyone and everyone's offer of help with the boat. You will learn so much more out on the water than anywhere else - and you will never stop learning.

Im in Kings boat yard at the moment. Thank you for the offer, it will most likely be a mid - week, towards the end of this month, as want to anti-foul it this weekend, and get it put in the water.

Does anyone know where I can get some anti-foul paint locally?

Fox`s have a large expensive selection, go on-line first to Seamark Nunn & get their price, Fox`s will price match & Fox`s is on your way to Kings

The OP has a Vivacity 650 which will probably take around half the amount of A/F yours did.......
