Copper (oxide) based antifouling and a copper alloy "P" bracket ............. no problem

My Sadler 32 P-bracket is covered in it and hasn't fallen off yet - but I can't recall what primer underlies it.

My P-bracket and prop are primed with Hammerite Special Metals. Excellent adhesion. I have Velox a/f on mine but almost anything should adhere well.

Personally, I would scrape off those layers of crust, and give it a gentle rub with a scotch pad. Then special metals/ non-ferrous primer as above ^^ and your choice of antifoul.
