Somehow I have switched my radio onto USA channels. How doe I get it back to INT channels?

Apparently you switch between US and International by pressing both of the channel up/down keys together. No wonder you managed to do it by mistake, and no wonder you couldn't easily guess how to change it - what a crappy piece of design!
Easy now you know, though.

Make sure it is not on dual watch when you try it.

Try Icom tech support via their website - I found them excellent.
