Help with buying new...

Hi All,
considering buying new, but deals are not tailored to what I want, and we are being told this is what you get like it or not ( For instance, deleting the sails is not an option on Bav).
What should my expectations be, and what tips and tricks should get us closer to a deal?

We are looking in the 34-37 foot AWB sailing .
Any recommendations (East Coast ditch crawlers!!) for what to see that is not at the show? We have contacted Parker for the 331......
