Git!
I am already being treated as mad foreigner by the yard who ae amused at nutter a) bodging own boat and b) using elizabethan technolgy
Anyway, it is thick foil, so quite bendy and plastic, sort of like lead but much thinner. It is self adhesive on one side. I have no idea wot happens around the tricky bits, but i can cut it up and its fine to overlap it. I have slightly lost my nerve regarding quantities and phonedem this morning for some extra sale or return to which they sed ok. The man in the yard poopoo'd it as he could mark it with a finger nail BUT he wasn't at all sure AND i reckon twill be fine cos i mean if you sliced off a thin layer of antifoul paint it would be much weaker and fall to bits it you jabbed at it with a fingernail, probably.
Electrickery wise won't this be ok, like a lightning conductor on a house? I mean, with a big fat lump of copper underneath then the electrickery will whizz of thataway and over to your uncopperish boat won't it? Hopefully, like most people, the lightning won't understand high voltage physics and will get confused by the copper under the boat.
