The power switch on my multimeter I carry on board, has failed.
It's push action, latching switch, in a PCB mounted, 6 pin dual inline package, used as a single pole switch, to switch a few 10's of milliamps.
The main body is about 7mm x 7mm x 7mm.
I've spent some time looking at the Farnell and RS catalogs online, and although there are multiple similar switches, I can't find one of exactly the same dimensions.
Does anyone recognise the switch or can point me to a manufacturer's website.
It seems a shame to have to throw the multimeter way, just because the switch has failed, especially as a pack of 5 switches only cost a couple of £'s.
If I can't find one exactly the right size, I'll need to modify the housing, which I'm reluctant to do ..... it would be simpler just to by a new one.
