Could any forumite please tell me how to wire up a Perko isolation switch 200 amp, which was given me. It has three terminals Common, F1 and F2.
I want to operate two battery banks, domestic and starter, common them up in an emergency, and isolate them when not on the boat... Thanks in advance

likely common feeds the circuits, one each to the two batteries....assuming it's an "Off,1,2,Both" switch? But "f1 & F2" sounds like a field disconnect type, in which case there'd be 3 large terminals + 2 small( f1 & f2)

There are diagrams on perko's website <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.perko.com/diagram2.htm>here</A>

Thanks for your link to the Perko site. 20 minutes after I posted the help request my son informed me that I am a muppet, and did a quick drawing - exactly the same as the Perko site! Thanks anyway
