What about asking the paint companies direct what they would recommend for teak in this situation?

You could try calling Marineware in Southampton. They import and sell a variety of paints and are very knowledgable and helpful.

i have a teak boat, 1 coat of metalic primer, 1 under coat and 2 top coats of teamac gloss
and no problems with it. i redo it every 2 years.
