Our crack team of engineers at KTL industries have created this superb tool box

waterproof, soft to touch and a perfect size. It has been aged by our team of young lasses to look like an old fender and so helps to fool tool thieves.

Please note that this is not just an ordinary fender it is a patented KTL super product and must not be confused with cheap imitations.

The price is expected to be around £70 plus P and P. The tools are extra.

Got it... Fender Tool Bag !

PS & no tool box is complete without duck tape & cable ties.

ah... now... you seem to be thinking that it is just a fender with a split in it.

This has been carefully sourced and disguised to look like a fender. You have been fooled by our skill. It is actually made of Poly Myethyline Salicilic Carbonate. If you try to just split a fender then that will obviously not work at all and would infringe our patents numbers 01296712761 and 07712 186250. These patents cost us £5,000 each and countless hours of lawyer time to prove that this is an entirely new concept in marine tool nurturing.

Don't let Quba see that or they'll do it for real - and probably at a lot more than £70 :)

We had a temporary third officer on Stavros once who was horrified to see an old split fender (about 3' diameter) being manhandled ashore into the skip. She listed all the things they might have used it for on her previous ship, although I don't think a tool-bag was among them so KTL Industries' patent is safe :)

thanks for your help in this complex matter. I can see that the road to financial success and the eventual purchase of a scoop sterned twin wheel cheese wedge is littered with obstacles.

The board at KTL industries has decided to offer a 50 per cent share in all the profits from this excellent product to the person who comes up with the name we use for it.

We have a parallel product which is to be used for the storage and safe transport of all your important sailing documents, credit cards and money. Just hang it over the side of the yacht with the other fenders and no thief would ever think to look here. This one is to be called the Fendersafe. it is an entirely different entity from the tool storage device. The opening is on the opposite side.

I think you are potentially missing out on a whole raft of personalisation accessories. How about some form of protective cover - a kind of sock if you will? Colour coordinated to the boat scheme.

For a share of the profits, I can also show you how the device makes a great way to keep your wine cool by inserting bottle into the device that this then hung over the guard rail. It ensures your bottle that is kept upright, can be kept at just the right depth to maximise cooling and the whiteness reflects the worst of the sun's warming rays. As it is also cleverly disguised as a fender, you don't look like some desperate wino either.

I think you are aiming at the wrong market to achieve your goal.

While every body recognises that the marine , esp yachty , market is a very lucrative one I think you should be taking on the ladies "designer" handbag market. A little product development may be required but a fancy clasp and a few other bibs and bobs should be sufficient. Dynema shoulder straps for the most expensive perhaps.

in no time at all you'll be up there with the famous names. Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Mulberry, maybe even Damart. The £ millions will be rolling in. You be able to increase the price to the limits of financial greed. You'll be able to keep a "scoop sterned twin wheel cheese wedge" in every country you fancy.

Do you do them in blue to match the other fenders on my nasty stink pot.

send snap of fender asap and I will put our crack team of patinists onto creating one for you

the price will be high - but it is a well established fact that stink pot owners are not only richer than sailors but their wives are also better looking
