From the SW Sunk - facing southeast ish.

Actually from the Sunk Beacon facing south-east which was still there then and before they dredged the Princes Channel. Ferry on the left is the Sheerness or Tilbury ferry coming up Fishermans while the dredger is heading London bound and the other ship I think turned into Fisherman's. One of the few times I've actually seen anything is Fisherman's apart from a Prior barge.

On looking back through some of these photos, it strikes me that if you all took a look through your files for your favourites from the last year and sent them to East Coast Sailing I could either change the home page pic more frequently or put together a little 'photo essay' of your best shots of the East Coast. What do you all think?

En-route from Dover to Eastbourne in early August. A rather late depature from Dover resulted a night time arrival.
