The boat was built in Florida in 1978. I suspect that these pumps are original fitment. I have three one for each shower sump and one manual bilge pump. I don't use one of the showers and the manual bilge pump gets an annual test then rests for a year. The pump in the shower that I use daily has been in use for coming up to 10 years now and the outer rubber seal which is just a dust seal is showing a small crack and there is a very small leak from the pump diaphragm area. The pump mounting screws look to be the same as the Henderson mk 5 but the front part does not match.

The white ring with the 6 holes has the word Henderson on it

Can anyone help with a pump ID

Are spares kits available. [

I can probably swop in the unused shower pump but would love to have a couple of rebuild kits to hand.

Looks like a Mk5 i have a manual bilge pump as yours & one on the Lavac spares are readily available

I'm not sure that part would look any different from a MK IV.

If it's still an original fit from 1978 I think it's probably an earlier model than a Mk 5. I can't remember the changeover dates but my mid 70s boat has MKIVs.

There are some spares for the earlier models (the bits that were unchanged in the Mk 5s), but like a lot of things, you don't need many bits before it's cheaper to buy a new later model pump.

Edit: I've just looked more closely at the second photo and the bolt pattern in that is probably a Whale 10 (the yellow one).

Ive got a MK 3 bilge pump and the mounting ring looks the same. Need to see the pump itself to know the type.

If anyone knows where to find a servicing kit for a mk3 let me know please? I'm on the verge on replacing it if I can't find spares.

I think that Whale now own Henderson and the deck plate DP9905 is the same for both. Cheapest I found was Ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Whale-Deckplate-Kit-for-Mk5-Sanitation-Pump-DP9905-White-/312004633579 as I also need a new rubber seal.
I think the Henderson Mk3 uses the same diaphrapm as the later ones but the valves are different. On the MK3 the valve is a simple flat rubber and it can be pulled off the screws and turned over if it is slow to seal and start pumping.
My MK3 is nearly 50 years old and with a couple of diaphrapm replacements it still works perfectly so it is basically a good design.
Buck - pm me and let me know what spares you need as I probably have spares of spares!

OK Here is a pic of the pump body.

I would really like to know if any spares or rebuild kits are available before I get into the hassle of fitting three different pumps. Especially as far as I can see with cover and diaphragm and vale replacements they might be good for another 40 years. This would make my 'reduce reuse recycle ' family members happy.

The only difference between the Mk 4 and Mk 5 pump is the valves. Only the Mk 5 repair kits are currently available but you can swap and old Mk4 body for a Mk 5 and you're good to go. My bilge pump is a double acting Mk 5 and my heads pump is a single acting Mk4 with a replacement Mk5 body.
