Help - broken down boat!

And this is the latest bowl full of diesel I have just drawn from my engines, yuk!

Have been adding Marine 16 and changing filters for months now but I suspect I am losing this battle and will need to get my tank cleaned when we get back to Blighty in a few weeks!

Out of interest, would you mind letting me know who you commissioned to check your fuel system through please?

Andrew, as is evident, I'm no expert in these things but there must be a root cause to your issue? Is the fuel that you're being supplied with good? Is there water getting into the tank somehow, which I believe can cause bug to breed?

Not sure that is anything more old diesel which has remained in the tank through no or limited use of the boat.
Another problem is folks getting not so clean "cheap" diesel from elsewhere and adding to tank.
One of our club members purchased a boat recently which after its first trip out resolutely refused to run.
After trying all the usual stuff filters etc and then more expensive fixes,injectors.injector pumps, it turned out one of the tanks was full off something not totally unlike diesel.
filled with fresh fuel and problem solved.
