I never had any trouble getting people to go ....

Honestly - check out the local Yacht Club and get sailing !!! there's always bags of help from them, tends to be limited in Marinas - could be because most don't actually know many others in the place, but clubs are different where you all muck in to keep the club going ....

Often you will find notices posted where people want a berth ...

JOIN A CLUB !!!

The best way to learn is to join a club and learn by sailing with others ... then worry about the courses etc.

The absolute basic stuff will be picked up quickly once a few weekends have been spent 'guesting / crewing' on other members boats ... even having other members assisting on your own boat is more than valid .....

The only thing is to not do same as many before you !!! Go out without any help at all ...... but being a salty like me, I'm sure you'll do the right thing !!!
