Hello everyone and another which boat post

Enjoy the Bav -we had our new Bav in 2001 and enjoyed 13 years sailing on her before trading up to a larger sailing moody in 2015 - guess when I reach approaching late 60s I might be changing to a trawler style but you have plenty of youthful years before a mobo beckons I guess. You don’t say the size of Bav but in case of interest look at Polaris sailing their bav42 on utube .

Thanks for the kind words and for the YouTube rec, it’s the newer 34 so 10m, looked at quite a few and kept coming back to Bavarias from the older 32 to the 33 and 34, excited to get her home soon hopefully. While looking at yachts and doing the rya courses I managed to come across many of the motor boats I had been interested in previously so was good to see them in the flesh, I think the Merry Fisher 10 was my favourite in person and probably would have gone that route if not for a sailing yacht, also while over in Scotland doing the courses every other boat seemed to be a Moody

I’ve owned mobos and sailboats. Enjoyed both at different times. Hope you enjoy yours.
