This little gem is not all that well known, perhaps because the entrances (E or W) are a bit tricky. A yacht might well spend a summer week here in total seclusion. It is the sound between Gighay and Helisay.
The view to the SW is Barra. Eriskay lies NNE. It is worth looking at it on Google maps: crystal clear at only one notch below maximum magnification.
