heavy duty velcro where from?

can anyone give me a link to where i can buy heavy duty velcro with a sticky back its for my berth cushions as every time the boat heals all the cushions fall on the floor

Our local {large} B&Q sells this.

BTW its best to make it more secure by stapling it as well (use stainless staples)

i second teh stapling comment. the velcro is so strong that when you try to remove whatever its stuck to it can remove the glued backing.

you can get hard mounted velcro that you screw onto the base, and then sticky on the cushion surface.
Used to use that after the sundeck cushions used to take off at 40knots!

We bought some last year at a swindlery for about £5. Bought another identical pack at Tesco two weeks ago for half that.

I agree about the staples. Use stainless ones as the carbon steel will rust inside the wood and break, making removal difficult or impossible.

Surely if its only cushions - then you don't need heavy duty ?

3M market the strong stuff if really needed !
