I have a Macwester 27, the heads which I either have to change or service is a SL400 - I can find no other makers information. Does anyone out there know who makes them or if service kits are available, or can I get one with the same dimentions i.e. hight etc. Thanks for the help I know will come.

If you go to the Trafalgar Yacht services web site they can supply a full spares kit for a Sl400 for about £38. I have an Sl400 fitted on my centaur and got some very good help and info by phoning 0141 3048025 which is a Glasgow number. I also have a photocopy of the installation/maintenance instructions plus a Troubleshooting chart/spares list etc. If you would like a copy phone me on 01229 718437. Hope this helps.

Depending on how old it is. After using two spares kits on an RL69, I found other wear and fitted a new loo. It cost me the same as two spares kits at the time and was a damn site more pleasant to fit.

Whilst the wholesale side of Simpson Lawrence, was absorbed into Sou'wester Marine, the manufacturing side still marches on in Glasgow.

However the spares kit will still cost you about £40 and you may prefer to put that money towards a more modern design of toilet - such as the Baby Blake.
