No I did not make them aware of the 'post's' or of my web site, I am grateful to the Forum as I suspect 'folks' from here did make them aware and certainly one member cancelled his contract with them for next year.

They have behaved honorably and refunded. For my part I have removed all reference from my site... Horrid business that has turned out correctly and I am grateful for all the support I received.

Good for you. I guess you sill have a bit of a nasty taste, given the damage they have done to your pride and joy. Time to move on though. You might try contacting Bartw off this forum. He has a fantastic boat, Blue Angel, currently moored in Croatia I believe, and he might have some contacts who could do the work locally at a fraction of the cost?

tbo, I'd be over the moon if I were you for getting both my money back AND having a new lining to work with (assuming you fancy some diy)
Seems that with some proper trimming and edging you could end up with a reasonably decent solution. Especially if you can remove without destroying the lining, clean properly and re fit with better glue.
