(It's an old Plastimo furler , parts of which I intend to use to repair the one originally on my boat, which I damaged)

sounds great. Those of us who moor our boats between the bridges (Hayling road bridge and Langstone rail bridge blocks) will be able to sail in both harbours

Which model are you looking for? I have an old 406 in the shed.

I don't know the actual model number but it is all metal. The foils are about 40mm diameter,

Thanks to all who offered their services.

The seller had said he was going to show it to someone else, even though I contacted him within a few hours of the ad going up.

The ad has been deleted from Gumtree, now so I presume the seller has sold it without having the manners to let me know that he will not be accepting my offer.

So I remain in the market for an old Plastimo drum as per the photos in #14 above....
