Just curious to know how many forumites have actually recently used this route. Also any advise please on hazards not printed in the East Coast Pilot or Rivers!

Your input will be much appreciated.

Cheers.

You may benefit from having a look here: -http://www.hooness.org.uk/

If you click on 'Articles' and then 'Through the Havengore' you will get a couple of pictures but under the heading on that page click on 'report' and you will get just that.

Additionally if you click on 'Havengore Bridge into the Roach' you will also get a stream of pictures showing the post markers over the sands

Hope these will help you

No problem.

See Roach Sailing Association for latest pilot update.

Hi Jim good to see you back after your Atlantic adventure! I trust Lynn and everything is ok?

It's as I suspected judging be the response to my thread so far, not many have used this route, I was even more surprised that a certain regular contributor to the East Coast Rivers, had also failed to impress me!

I already know you have the 'T' shirt Jim and hopefully like you, soon I can proudly wear the Havingore Colours. ;)

Dave,

go here, and read. Its a small link on the right hand side of the home page.

All well after the trip, very enjoyable.

We were Bridge side about 6 or 7 weeks ago, loads of water both Rushley and Potton side.

Good link Jim, what do you think this means? "There is at least one marked wreck near the route, and may be other unmarked obstructions from time to time"

Cantata came and said hello in BYH on Sun Morning. ......
We did indeed, nice to see you again, and can confirm that Karouise is one heck of a pretty boat.
Need to scribble notes and crunch numbers re Havengore which might take a while. Like other legendary East Coast places, though, it's not actually as scary as its reputation has it.
Just a bit shallow, that's all....
