Researcher seeks perhaps retired active owners of various types of (minimun 30ft.) sail vessels - mono & multihulls - for one day sessions pottering about, testing widgets in the water, taking readings, electronics, logging data, etc. Pay £130 per day or £200 per two day pottering. Weekends / weekdays anytime usually OK. Typically three days per month - weather, etc. permitting.
South / South East coast would suit nicely. Back in time for tea and medals....
Ongoing research programme.
Laid back civilised chap, extensive trans ocean & cruising experience but pretty poor seamanship skills....... Sad, is it not ? !!!

Hello Malcolm - Thanks for your kind reply ! Unfortunately, as this is about cruising gear it needs the sea rather than inland waterways.

I am about to buy a 45' ketch which needs a lot of work doing to her, but hope to be ready for sailing end of August. Very happy to take you to sea, you can sit back and play with your toys as long as you can give a hand in an emergency or when berthing.
