On a more serious note, don't worry too much about it, and particularly, don't worry them. Make sure school staff are aware - check parents see the tutor.
I have it mildly, one daughter and son also have a mild dislexia and another son is a serious dislexic.
There are other symptoms too - the most awkward one can be a concentration problem. Suggest you read it up.
He used laptop for all schoolwork since age of 11, got some private coaching from an expert, got good GCSE in 9 subjects and reasonable A levels and now designs web sites and gives public presentations. So it is certainly not impossible to overcome.

it will prob get to "dunleeri" soon claymore..i think it started out as Dun Laogh Haire..pronounced "dun lock hair".. so its on its way..good job that station in north wales isnt a port..

Interesting in Poole harbour on Wednesday, mean water level at top of Town Quay wall (glad we were in the marina). Great sail back to the Solent on Thursday though (although was a bit wet Thursday evening in Southampton Water).
