When he was running a successful business, the aquisition of a new system or asset was, I'm sure, pursued with ruthlessness and zeal.
Now he's retired and has oodles of time he can't decide which yacht to buy....
Has the pipe and slippers approach slowed him down and do we need to send him back down the Jobcentre?

Great - I really envy you LJS.

It looks like you might miss the Three Nations Cruise (delivery trip) though. That must be a bit of a blow?

Harrumph
I have this very morning placed orders with Fortnum and Mason for the victualling of the good ship Claymore and arranged dates for delivery and release of bonded stores. This has been based on a crew comprising, Grandpara Handy, Muzzy the Excox, The increasinglylonginthetoothJohnSadler and my good self. I have been unable to ascertain the whereabouts of the TCM at this time and decided that I was probably being realistic in standing him down as it would possibly clash with his weekly saunter to the Post OFficxe to pick up his pension. Wee Jamesie has confirmed his unavailability - understandably the venture is taking place over half term and so he will be ensconced firmly within the bosoom of his family.
