Raider is very much RN.

Raider is the ship belonging to Cambridge (Anglia Ruskins & UEA) University Royal Naval Unit (CURNU). There are currently 14 URNUs supporting the countries' leading Universities in England, Wales and Scotland. The organisation's Mission is to "educate a wide spectrum of high calibre undergraduates who show potential as society's future leaders and opinion formers in order to better inform them of the need for and role of the Royal Navy, and to develop awareness of career opportunities in the Service." Each URNU is commanded by a RN Lieutenant who is responsible for 51 undergraduates who each join the URNU as RN Reservists for their 3 years at University. Training is conducted one evening a week in shore units at or near the University and at sea, over the weekends and during the vacations, by a dedicated Archer Class P2000 20 metre Patrol craft.

Yup the HMCE ships have all been 'sold' to another quango, the UK Borders Agency, here's what was announced in the HMCG Newsletter:
"The UK Border Agency now has a fleet of five cutters patrolling the United Kingdom’s coastline using the latest technology to track down prohibited goods and people.
These fast patrol vessels are part of the recent transfer of customs responsibilities from HM Revenue & Customs to the UK Border Agency following Royal Assent of the Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Act in July this year.
Previously known as Her Majesty’s Customs Cutters, the vessels will now be called Her Majesty’s Cutters (HMC) and will continue to secure the country’s border against the most determined criminals.
The core of the fleet is made up of four Stan Patrol 4207 vessels. Built by Damen Shipyards in Holland, ‘HMC Valiant’, ‘HMC Vigilant’, ‘HMC Searcher’ and ‘HMC Seeker’ were commissioned between 2001 and 2004.
At 42 metres long, the cutters boast sophisticated surveillance and navigation equipment to help combat smuggling and illegal immigration. Propulsion is provided by twin Caterpillar 3516B DI-TA ELEC engines to reach speeds in excess of 26 knots.
The Agency also operates a Vosper Thorneycroft Island Class, ‘HMC Sentinel’, commissioned in 1993.
The Agency has ten cutter crews comprising 120 personnel; each is led by a Commander and operates a duty pattern of two weeks on, two weeks off. This means that five fully operational cutters are available for sea at 30 minutes’ notice, 24 hours a day, all year round.
With their advanced tracking and excellent sea keeping capabilities, HM Cutters are designed to carry out a wide range of law enforcement duties and are tailored to meet specific operational requirements."

IIRC HMS RAIDER will be P2000 class. The Archer class were the forerunners; a couple of Vosper vessels designed for use in the Persian Gulf but the purchase contract fell through and the RN were 'gifted' with them. I think you may find "HUNTER" was the first of class. The CO's cabin had the exhaust of the starboard engine running through it which gave him a cherry pink complexion!! The air conditioning was superb but the heating worse than useless.
