Hardy Pilot deadrise angle?

Ask Portofino.

He will tell you that it is wrong and that only Itamas have got it right.
What I can show him is how it’s done a 23 degree deadrise .
Put it in the centre of the V as far Fwds as practical.

Itama cut a flat pad in the Vee a notch .So it’s irrelevant what the angle is .

They cut away some of the sold hull from the inside to flatten out a pad .^
It’s in front of the bilge switch btw ^ .

You can try the Hardy Owner's Club, they are a helpful bunch, though they can take a while to answer.

From looking at the Family Pilot 20 as a prospective purchase, the deadrise is quite shallow at about 10° estimated. It has been about a year since I looked at one out the water.

+1
Not the way Hardy did things - more likely a lump of fairly thick solid GRP! 😉
.
They are cored and double skinned, except for the portion under the outboard well
