Dag, Not wanting to be biased, but I brought Garmin 725 last year and I still think it was a good buy. The reasons being that it has performed perfectly well with good clarity. If you notice the battery fitting is robust, no flimsy catches that will open if dropped. In all the unit is well built and everything is of a high quality. Also, fortuately for yourself, the prices have significantly dropped from when I bought one, which I can see no reason for. If you get a chance to look handle both units it is advised, I wasn't planning on getting the Garmin but in the shop after long inspection of all handhelds on the market, I had no doubt which one to buy.
