Battery is only 21.6v, should be able to charge with a DC-DC convertor i would think.

Dyson do a 12V charger for this. I think if you buy the car and boat direct from Dyson it comes with the charger. With Aldi you have to go back to Dyson to purchase as an accessory. Might be worth checking out the Dyson outlet on eBay. Although they do not have the car and boat there are some good prices and an additional 20% off at the moment.

I have one like this on my boat, it's really quick to use and never needs recharging. Sometimes I use a damp cloth on the wood floor.

We have a Dyson cordless in a 2 bedroom flat and it is excellent - but expensive. For the boat I bought an Electrolux cordless that looks almost the same. It's also excellent but at half the price. Battery charges from a 12v - 12v converter without any problems

yes but ........ SWMBO bought the upright and the hand held direct from Dyson for £299, which makes Aldi's price a bit steep.
