Hi All,

Has anyone moored up at Hampton court and had a round of golf? Is it possible?⛵️🏌
I am based at Chiswick and I like the idea of having a day out on the Thames with a quick game of golf.
Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Cheers,
Paul

I don’t play golf but often moor at Hampton Court and walk around the perimeter of the golf course. Probably about a mile walk from the moorings to the golf club. Golf club always looks busy.
Hope you get to have a good game.

I’m based in Tedd and as it happens had a golf day there with work last Friday. I can’t play golf for toffee but it’s a lovely setting ( lots of long grass to lose balls ) and a nice clubhouse with food and drink to match. Plus it’s open to the public, well those that know about it.

The main moorings at HC are a bit of a stroll down the foot path but you can find a smaller grass mooring near one of the gates into home
Park which is where the course is.

I was actually going to take mine but it was quicker to walk through Bushy park !

Enjoy

Thanks TO for the info.

Arriving by boat, having a game of golf and maybe overnighting has a good feel about it.🏌👍🏻⛵

As a golfer myself I did once think about doing this, as Hampton Court golf club used to be owned by the same company that owned my club, so could play for free.

Other golf clubs near the thames that I can think off:

Winter Hill (visible from Cookham moorings)
Harleyford Golf club - same land as Harleyford marina
Springs Golf Club - backs right onto the river near Little Stoke
