Hammerite Special Metals Primer

Vyv, it was your favourable comments that led me to try HSMP last season, many thanks. I’ve had good experience with Trilux 33 on the saildrive leg and the plastic bow thruster but found that it washes away quite quickly on my prop (regardless of primer). Is Velox longer lasting on a prop. In your experience?

My boat is in the Med , in the water all year. Rather fertile water. Our bow thruster is also a plastic one, with two sets of rather curved blades. By mid summer these have accumulated a thriving barnacle population, despite starting with regular antifoul. While I can with difficulty clear the exterior sides of the blades there simply isn't room to get a scraper round the back sides.
Would Trilux 33 be a better answer than regular a/f?
Any other suggestions?

I am in the UK, not the Med, but have just had 2 years barnacle-free plastic bowthruster prop by using Micron 350 antifouling. Boat was afloat all that time.

As Plum, I'm a UK boat. I've used Primocon primer and Trilux 33 antifoul for 6 years, since new. My season is 6 months. I get a few barnacles and some washing-off of the a/f but easy to clean and touch-up for the following season. Per this thread, I'll probably give Velox prop antifoul this coming season.
