Hamble point

Colwell is completely correct re differing opinions of course, coz we think Banana Wharf is a **** hole, can't stand it,

All jokes aside we love Weymouth and go there whenever time allows, the best grub is fish and chips eaten on your own boat, it's just the guilt after re the calories

Ah yes, chips from Bennetts while waiting for the town bridge to open, hard to beat.

I will miss my fish and Chips in Weymouth now they moved the ferry to Poole.
Stayed at the Navigator last year, but had lunch at the Ketch Rigger, and must admit it was excellent value by comparison.
Tichfield Mill is pretty good, and last week had a brilliant meal [ cheap as well ] at the Oast and Squire.
I think it really depends on loads of factors, taste, service, day of the week.
Over here if the Restaurant has been open a couple of years its probably ok.
I must admit the Sticky Toffee Pudding at the Royal Welsh Yacht Club Beer and Natter last Saturday was the culinary highlight of my week.
It was brilliant....and the company was pretty good too...

The Navigator is alright for the wealthy types. Always found it a tad pretentious myself.

Ho ho Roy, take your dog in there as she will get a free meal in with your pint, as said by others they have upped there game making clients very welcome, I'd also say after leaving Swanwick we have given the boathouse a miss and re discovered the Nav which after its refurb we ditched it. Funny how you go back after a while.
