Has anyone else, with a Hamble River mooring, had a nice note from the Crown Agents about maintenance of pontoons?

In short, I need to replace the mooring eyes (eyebolts on the ends of the pontoon to which the mooring chains are shacked) and I'm having a problem finding a supplier. Many places supply small eyebolts, but I need really big ones with a minimum thread diameter of 24mm.

Anyone know of a supplier?

Re: What material?

Charles, thanks for your interest.

Material - galvanised steel
Eye size - approx. 24 mm also
Shank length - min 60 mm, no max. but any more than 100 mm will be a waste
How many - 4 (plus nuts and washers)

I also need 8 galvanised shackles - to connect the eyes to the chains (4 off) and to connect the chains to the mooring rings (4 off), and some suitable sized galvanised chain (approx 20 mm), about 8 metres (or 4 off 2 metres).

If you can suggest a supplier I'd be most grateful.
