Halyard Shaft seal manual

Really hope someone can help. I have a new (to me) boat fitted with a Halyard HMI shaft seal. I have Googled for hours and cannot find a complete manual for this, I found one that is incomplete.

Mine has been fitted for years but the boat never went in the water. I cannot get the seal to lubricate through properly, the oil flow stalls. I specialise in hydraulics so have a thorough understanding of seals and lubrication systems but as the boat is now on the water I am very anxious about trying anything without decent documentation or input.

Halyard Marine are usually very helpful. Why not try emailing them and asking their advice and for a copy of the instructions/manual. It also appears there were different types made? https://halyard.eu.com/
