Hallberg- Rassy, without a chart table, Imagine the outcry if it was a Bavaria.

I find it amusing how on here the Bavarias get bashed for having keels that fall off on contact with sea water and Hallberg Rassys etc get bashed for really being built to the same standards as an AWB and people are only paying "for the name". Both views are wrong.:p

There is no doubt that the use of electronics are changing the need for a permanent full size chart table.

Suggest you have a look at the new Bavaria 32. Not a lot of difference in size of the "table where you might do a bit of chart work, but mostly use for your beer and sandwiches".

Think you will see more of this in the 30-35 foot range because of the pressure to increase lounging and sleeping space. These are the features that people are buying now - and there are plenty of older boats with big chart tables like my Bavaria 37 for those that value the feature.
