First real 3 months as a part time live aboard in Costa Blanca. I,v sailed localy more than ever I did in Ireland. Not far and not only on my own boat. Maybe about 20 miles a trip average but the best sailing I ever experienced. Very relaxing when you don't feel you have to grab every good day. Generally out twice a week..

So far this year I've sailed a fair bit too. (The last three weeks have been more or less continuously at sea and I'd done a fair bit before then.)

The problem is that our own boat has moved three hundred metres so far: from crane in to mooring....

I intend to out the right in the next few weeks. Spain here we come.

Are you sailing your boat down to Spain?

Getting right back to the OP's question-No!

Changed the boat in late May, purchased and made the delivery trip in early June-all under engine-sails and running rigging now removed for cleaning and refitting.

Should be back together soon and we can start using her.

First Mate is apprehensive about docking stratagies-I suspect we will be practicing a lot.......................
