Last November discovered these hairline cracks in my boat. This was bought in 2015. It was berthed in Marina and I had no other boats near mine as they were separated by a finger pontoon. These cracks are found on the top side of the boat - starboard side. I never use that side to step on my boat. There are no railings near the cracks which might have caused the cracks. In addition, i am 100% certain that it was nit hut by other boats which might have caused the cracks. It was bought brand new. I am not sure what might have caused the cracks on the boat.

Go on, give us a clue, what make and model, size, inboard/outboard engine.... :encouragement:

Out of interest, is there an internal bulkhead that lines up with the cracks?

Does it line up with where the lifting strops would have been used?

You could quickly measure back from the porthole externally and then check internally using the measurement for what is located in the area.

If its not caused by some sort of impact from another boat etc its either from lift outs/handling not done right or general bad design which causes stress areas in the hull.

It is a 21 feet boat with a Yamaha 150 make SAVER 620 bought new. The boat is never lifted out of the water but palced on a trailer which is driven out or into the sea.

On your first pic it almost looks like someone attempted a bad repair, the surface above the cracks don't look smooth. If the area have been repaired before it most likely a structural problem with the hull.
A good indication of this would be to look at what's behind the area where the cracks are as mentioned before.

Yes, you are right...I tried magic eazy...a product supposed to make miracles...unfortunately the colour was not the same and had to remove it as quickly as possible as it dries up within 9 seconds.
