Another clue is that this vessel has one of those copper based 10 yr antifoul systems.

Looks like a pair or crusted up leather gloves to me, hanging next to a rusty mechanical gear part.

Spot on Vic!
The owner wondered why he had no propulsion!
Im told that the anode was new only 8 months ago.
Ive never seen corrosion so bad in such a such time, there must be an electrical fault of some kind.
