Guernsey planning.

Hoping to get a trip to Guernsey in before the end of the season. It will be a first for us. This is likely to be a daft question, but I have yet to organise myself with an ICC. I believe this will be necessary if I go to France, but do I need this for Guernsey? Supplementary question.... any training/test outfit recommendations for taking the ICC test in Torquay. Been boating for a long time but the only ever formal training taken was Day-Skipper theory in 2006! Thanks

ICC only req for inland waters (ie locked in except the Rance )

You'll need it for the Med Rick ;-)

We used Plymouth Sailing School and the instructor we had regularly skippers a large Princess in Plymouth. Tom did his DS practical and I tagged along doing a Helmsmans and ICC. I think there is a school in Brixham as well, but I would recommend the guy we had - ex RN.
