What do call the rollers I've seen on guard rails I think they are supposed to help a fore sail get over the guard rail but I thought they would be handy for helping get the dinghy onto the foredeck. Anyone got a link to somewhere selling them?

I use a length of waste-pipe over the midships guardrail mostly to ease the clew of the genoa over the rail but it also acts as a roller to heave the dinghy onto the coachroof for deflation. A tad cheaper than £16 for two wee wheels.

You're right £16 for 2 little plastic wheels is a complete rip off. Probably churned out in a factory in China at a fraction of that price.
Thanks for the link MoodySabre.

Blimey, was thinking about these (nylon rollers) just the other day. Now i've seen the price and i'd want 4, think i'll get the hole saw out, cut a few discs, sand them smooth and see if they are any good!
Like the pipe tip though!

Bit more complicated, I need something I can retro fit without removing the ends of the wires. So something that snaps together is required.
