Grit blasting

I'm clearly out of touch, the cost of this seems to have risen significantly, last time I had this done was 2019 in Cowes and it cost £660 ! - now getting quoted either side of £2.5K for an 11.6 metre sailboat with a 2 metre fin keel and that's in Plymouth...
Does that include redoing the epoxy layer or just the blast?
I had a similar quote up in Scotland, but included the epoxy.

I was quoted £2.4k for a 10 metre boat on the east coast (Fox’s) a year ago.

I have a 15m cat so it's big but the draft is 90cm so surface area is not huge. In 2020 I was quoted £1000 , a couple of months ago £2500 was the best quote I got. Not sure if the environmental costs have gone up or just that lots of people are making a lot more money but it's quite a shocking jump.

I just today had a verbal estimate of about £2.5K for a 35 ft fin keel boat in Cornwall. Not going to play. If it had been £1K or preferably under I might have gone ahead. This is just to take old AF off back to gelcoat. Contractor was on site doing a nearby boat.
