G R-J is another person with the enthusiasm & interest to have added value to the dreadful Jubilee Pageant of non-Celebrities, err, I mean boats. What a missed opportunity for the Beeb that was.![]()
Until I saw this program, and having never visited Essex, I didn't realise just how unbelievably flat the area is. Could not be more of a contrast to where I now live.
Yep Griff loves the water and though (like me) he's a bit of a grumpy bugger, he is passionately enthusiastic about the water, particularly the East Coast which he seems to be a real knowledge on.
And he kept his boat, Undina in Shotley for a while too... I believe he still has a property on or around the Deben somewhere.
