Greenline 33 - owner feedback

And if so may as well spec Croc skin table top inserts --hang on a minute I,ve seen that on a San Lorenzo ,or was it a Ferretti ?
I did ask it was not fake !

Yup and polar bear skin carpets, scatter cushions made out of panda fur and rhino horn coffee cups;)

Nevermind the animals , which can be farmed ( or there DNA -sperm /egg - cryogenically stored so we can recover them if we want ,once fed up with holograms ) - what about the recyclability of the nasty plastic boat ? The Al coffee machine capsules , the beads in the super green facial scrubs clogging up the ocean ?

Nah - there's no such thing as an Eco friendly liesure boat -it's all Bolox marketing .
If you drill down into Bat raw material extraction /disposal and any shore power regen ,its an Eco disaster !

If you are that bothered ---Sail

Theoretical return trip and the boat weight reducing all the time as the fuel went down improving the mpg.
All theoretical as we trundled ever onwards until we reached Africa instead.
That's an incredible trip in a thirty foot boat! Did you go for a narrow crossing at Gibraltar or straight from France?

Coast hopped along the French and Spanish coasts to Gibraltar over to Ceuta then into Morocco. We thought that was probably far enough for a single engined motor boat. (And my insurance didn't cover any further into Africa)
Coming back across the straits of Gib in thick fog and the shipping lanes, close call when a Whale bigger than the boat suddenly appeared just off our bow, (damn Whale was travelling the wrong way up the shipping lane and not broadcasting AIS) Spent all summer heading back up the Spanish and French Med coasts and we have ended up living on the boat in Toulon France for winter.
This year we hope to get going early. East to get in a quick fleeting visit to Italy before we need to start going back westwards. Plan:- into Canal du Midi at Sete, out at Bordeaux up the French Atlantic coast until we get back home to Jersey towards end of Sept.
Simples me thinks!!!

We're based near Toulon pity we didn't meet

Hello,

Are there any forum members who own or have owned a Greenline 33 either the Hybrid or not - who would kindly offer some ownership feedback?

Thanks

I take it that there are no Forum members who own or have owned a Greenline 33?
3 pages of posts discussing pros and cons of Hybrids none who have actually owned one!

I talk of many things of which I know nothing :cool:But for the record I like the Greenline for its concept and pricing and seriously looked at ownership (but it wasn't the right time to discuss with the wife, and when the stars did align my tastes had moved on to trawlers. Perhaps that's the problem, it only appeals to trawler ( or maybe yottie) types)

I am looking to buy a Greenline 39/40 hybrid, preferably in the UK or EU. Does anyone know of one for sale please.
The local Greenline dealer always emails me when he has one in stock…I’ll pass on the information next time
