I can see you'll soon be taking up a position of great importance with that national standard 'The Star'
While your little icon on p46 of PBO maybe small compared to Nicho's starring role on the front page, you are undoubtably of far more epic stature, and hence you picture is larger in proportion.
Anyway, getting back to nationalities, I'm indeed Welsh, though as you can gather by my name (pure County Kerry) I am allowed to indulge in poteen, and indeed privy to the secret recipes of this glorious county, and indeed can tell County Kerry jokes without receiving a well deserved beating - that's a threat by the way
Ah yes BUT, I not only featured on the front cover, BUT I also featured in the inner pages, AND some 400 words were devoted to my thoughts...... a real coup I think. There were also, three other pictures of me in various poses on the inner pages (113,114,116) at the helm of a Bavaria 36, AND I was also helming for no less than David Harding, PBO's boat tester!! This January issue is currently exchanging hands on Ebay for £200, though signed copies fetch a lot more. (Even Madman cannot equal that with all his Bavaria exploits).
Actually I thought the Sport may be more appropriate. They always seem to have somewhere comfy to lay your head when you not writing.
I did not intend to denigrate Nicho's PBO entry, I was merely suggesting mine was of a similar quality for different reasons. As to nationalities I reckon you would claim to be Bulgarian with a touch of Ukrain if they had someting Alchoholic worth drinking.
I didn't realise you'd already met my stinkie friends Duncan (Bulgarian) and Forbsie (Ukranian)
Anyway, I'm not letting you and Nicho get away with these journalistic pretensions. I have myself appeared in IPC's motorboating magazines on at least three occasions.
