Well said Steve , though surprising though it may seem there are fewer idiots than it sometimes seems . But I do get a perverse pleasure out of winding up those that do fall into that category /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Though it has been proved countless times that either meeting someone face to face , or even having a chat on the phone conveys to another user so much more than the written word could ever do

I did it because you wanted your trailer moved and I was in the right place to do part of the trip. Anyway I enjoyed it. What neither of them realise, I had already volunteered for the trailer relay before they decided to have a go at me so I have no regrets in shaming them both on here. Luckily, unbeknown to them, there are plenty of people willing to lend a physical hand and it is comforting to know that when that help is needed, not everyone leads just a virtual life.

I don't necessary agree with your 'attack mode'. I prefer to point out their factual errors and shortcomings.

Anyway, I have had a great day. I've been out for a jaunt, met two forumites, who don't live in a virtual world, got two pints of milk, which I needed, sorted out Firefox on my PC and as of now, have finished the magazine. Okay, it is two days late, but there you go. We start printing tomorrow at 10 AM, so I will be on here as I write my last minute editorial for the mag.

Oh, and I missed all the rugby today as I had to finish my work.

Likewise I had a busy day working away on the boat in the real world , and tragically missed the Scotland Wales match in which I do believe Scotland took a bit of a pasting ( Sorry Al , we might let your lot win one day )

I offered him breakfast but he refused so we had a cup of tea instead. He didnt notice any of the "modifications" to the trailer ( I think he may have had a wee dram to keep out the early morning cold).

First attempt at pics.

With remarkable agility I got home from Preston and reversed the lot onto the drive

When T25s replacement arrived we set about swapping an odd bit or two.
Today Al arrived at about 09.00, by which time it was sitting outside again

With the advert still in the window

After swapping cars, Alistair insisted on looking for the tow hitch

While I scratched my head in puzzlement

After the customary handshake and pic for the album

It was off into the fog and on his way safely home

I notice he has already started another thread re an american trailer, yeah right!
