Great deal on AA Lithium Batteries

"Product details

Boxed-product Weight: 59 g"

If there are 16 batteries this would mean less than 4 grammes per unit. Perhaps they are intended for 'light' duty...?

Do they?
Or is the price for a single AA - 4 pack, like these..

"The first respondent to this question had his order processed incorrectly - I received 16 batteries (4 packs of 4) as advertised. "

EDIT

Just heard back from the seller:

Dear Sir or Madam,

... with this offer is 16 batteries.

Best regards

Whats your response to #15
If I were a suspicious sort of cove I would suggest that the reason the OP links to a different site that links to the offer is because if he were to link directly from this site he would not be allowed to include the details to get the commission on the sale.

Whatever else everyone is saying, these are very good batteries. I paid £5 for four of these batteries when I needed heavy duty ones that would also hold their charge for a long time if not used. This is a good deal indeed for 16. I don't need more batteries at the moment alas. And Duracell are the best known batteries for leaking and I have many hours of experience and research into AA batteries. I would buy Tesco heavy duty AAs before I'd buy Proctor and Gamble's copper topped leaky cells.

BUT is it for 16 batteries
if only for 4 batteries that is expensive & a misleading ad put up by Nigel

The amazon entry says it's for 16 ...

if you want it without benefiting Nigel then just search amazon.co.uk for B008CZUDJS - the ASIN number ...

You may be right ..... although I don't think the Mods will fall for that one. The rules about covert commercial endorsement are very clear.

"N/A" does not seem a very informative response to me.

You could be right :)

It was originally posed on the Bavaria Forum (where the commission is mentioned), but I thought you lot deserved a bargain so I have linked to the original post. Please don't make me regret it.

I'm not really getting at you - if you get a few pence from it then good for you - I just think you make it clear.

In fact, the deal is so good that I just ordered some even though I don't need them yet and I don't have a boat any longer, let alone a bavaria, but I did place order via Nigel's site because it costs me nothing and returns a favour.

While that is a good price I am not sure in what applications it makes sense to use the Lithium batteries. Good Alkalines have a shelf life of 10 years, and a capacity of about 90% yet cost half the price.
