Nice one Bruce! It was a brilliant day here in Chester also, but, alas, I was confined to other duties. My weekend comes next weekend - better not be p!ssing down!

Don't you just feel sorry for all those who have their boats out the water on a day like today? I'v ejust got back from a most enjoyable day on the water. Lovely sunshine, lovely sea and clear blue sky - MAGIC

We were out too, sea was flat as a pancake. Enjoyed a noce trip across to cowes followed by a trip up the river to bucklers hard. Nothing better than a hot coffee while potting along. Yes a great day.

I knew I should have called you as we were out today and it was absolute bliss and I now understand why so many go on about winter boating.....

Got half way across to Cowes and starboard engine over heated, had to go back on one engine. Seems like I've got some kind of leak from a gasket near or on the water pump - fast as I topped rad up with water it just flowed out. Know any good local engineers?
