Grandchild number 8 arrived today

Congrats to all, Roger.
Eight, eh......blimey, I've only got two, they just went back home after coming round for a meal and I'm on my knees.....

Congratulations :):):):) The day is still some way off for me and I'm unlikely to see 8, but I look forward to the first!

We have numbers 4 and 7 staying for a couple of nights (aged 5 and 20 months) so I will be wasted come Wednesday afternoon. Oh and Wednesday evening is boys' night at the pub so head wetting will add financial injury. Time for an early night.....

Thanks all :) We count ourselves very fortunate that they are all healthy. I am trying to convince the males in the family to get a block booking discount at the vasectomy clinic :D

That's a good idea - numbering them. Saves a lot of problems with thinking through names.

The clinic is a good idea, I'm feeling the pressure on space around here!

Well done though!

Well Done Roger. The numbeers are scary though. I hope not to have 7 or 8 Grandchildren. If I escalate the Grandparent spend on our sole Grandson, I would need to get a cleaning job in the evenings......and not retire until 2070.

Congrats Roger - presumably in a few years time you'll be trading in Sabre for a sleek racing machine, now you've got a ready made crew (plus a few reserves).....

Congratulations. The years 2001-2005 must have seemed very quiet. We have been assured by all parties concerned that our present count of five is not going to change.
